US and Canadian Tourists are rushing to Niagara Falls. The largest North American waterfall on the border between the United States and Canada has frozen after an ice storm.

According to reports, the weather system moving over North America from west to east and strong Arctic air from Canada contributed to the formation of the ‘winter wonderland’.

A set of stairs that were placed just outside the look-out spot had so much ice on them and were unable to be used.

This is the first time since 1848 the falls froze.
